Ajay Mamtora

Most of my professional work is frontend engineering for complex payroll and HR software, primarily with Angular and TypeScript. I lead new UI work, modernise older systems and spend a lot of time thinking about accessibility, developer experience and how AI can remove repetitive engineering work without compromising quality.

Outside work, I build apps and developer tools across whatever technology makes sense for the project. Recently that's included Kotlin, Go and Rust. When I'm away from a computer, I'm usually strength training, running, cooking, taking photos or working on cars.
